Peter Rabbit is hungry today, and he's looking foward to his lunch! but watch out, his lunch is YOUR BOOK! Young children will adore turning each page and watching as Peter nibbles and munches his way through almost everything in Mr McGregor's garden. Each page is a little smaller than the one before, and Peter's little teeth marks prove he's not far away! Turn to the last page to see if poor Mr McGregor will be left with anything at all for HIS lunch!

'This book has very tasteful illustrations in calming, pastel-y colours. In rhyme, it tells a tale of Peter Rabbit going into Mr McGregor''s garden and eating all the vegetables which are growing. There are "bite marks" out of each page. My toddler (21 months) is fairly engaged throughout the story, but I''m not sure she understands that the funny shaped pages are meant to represent bite marks, and doesn''t seem to pay much attention to the fact the pages are funny shapes. A nicely produced book, pretty robustly made and attractively illustrated, but not sure that it''ll become one of our favourites.'
